Multicultural Students

UK Education Abroad seeks to encourage diversity while increasing global and cultural competency, and our office encourages student diversity in education abroad programs. To better help you find the right program, we've included some information and resources below!

In the U.S., you may be classified by your ethnicity, but when you're abroad, you may be identified as an American first. Attitudes toward underrepresented groups will vary greatly among cultures, so even if you aren't in the minority at home, you might be in your host country (or vice versa). Everyone's experience will be different, but know that you can go on an education abroad program and we are here to make that happen!
